This Privacy Policy explains how EVERZOM collects and uses personal data when you visit https://everzom.com (the “Website”) or contact us through it, and describes the rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978.
1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
Contact form. When you use the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), the reason for your contact (information request, career or investors) and the content of your message, together with any documents you choose to send us, such as a CV.
Direct correspondence. When you email us, we collect the information contained in your message.
Browsing data. When you visit the Website, technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited may be collected through cookies and server logs, as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your requests (information, partnership and investor enquiries): our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Managing job applications: steps taken at your request prior to a potential employment contract.
- Operating and securing the Website (strictly necessary cookies, server logs, spam prevention): our legitimate interest in providing a secure and functioning website.
- Audience measurement (statistics cookies, where used): your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
4. Recipients
Your data is accessible only to authorised EVERZOM staff who need it to handle your request. It may also be processed by our technical service providers (in particular our website hosting provider and email services), acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality and security obligations. It will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, EVERZOM ensures that the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
6. Retention periods
- Contact requests: for the time needed to handle your request, then up to 3 years from our last exchange.
- Unsuccessful job applications: up to 2 years from our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Cookies: for the periods set out in our Cookie Policy, and no longer than 13 months.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You may also give instructions regarding the fate of your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@everzom.com or to EVERZOM, 11 Rue de l’Académie, 67000 Strasbourg, France. We may ask you for proof of identity if we have reasonable doubt about it. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr).
8. Cookies
Except for cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the Website, cookies are only placed with your consent, which you may give, refuse or withdraw at any time. For details, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
